Bell peppers with cheese (Lorlu Biber)

A great Thracian specialty! Such as MenPaprika with cheese can also be served as a side dish, main course or breakfast treat. Lots of people enjoy Lorlu beaver for breakfast or lunch, but in my family we usually have it for dinner with fresh bread. It's really easy to do and almost impossible to go wrong.

You can use as many peppers and as much cheese as you want for this recipe. As you can see in the first picture, I love mine rather cheesy. Traditional Lorlu beaver is made with long green peppers called çarliston, d. H. Charleston, but no idea why that name. However, there are so many different types of delicious peppers, shishitoes, sweet Italian, Hungarian, poblanos, banana peppers. Just follow your taste buds.

1 pound green / red / orange / yellow bell peppers, chopped into rounds (seeds removed)
1/2 cup ricotta, cottage cheese, or farm cheese (This can easily go up to 1 full cup)
2-3 tbsp olive oil
Salt if necessary

– Heat oil in a pan.
-If it is very hot, add chopped peppers and sauté them until they turn lightly brown
– Take the peppers out with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to soak any excess oil.

– add cheese.

– Stir until the cheese melts.
-Serve hot.
